Call outs
We Provide a Call out service with the following charges:
£85 per hour for call outs to Northwest London
£105 per hour for call outs to North and West London (including Southwest)
£135 per hour to southwest and Northeast London
£165 per hour for call outs to Central London
£185 per hour for call outs to south and East London (including Southeast)

- Please note these prices are for labour only. Any materials required or used will be charged additionally
- Any parking charges to be added additionally for duration of works (Paid Car parks, Metered Parking ect.)
- +20% Evenings (5pm-7pm)/ +100% Late Evenings (7pm-9pm) +200% Late night/ Early morning/ Weekends/ After hours
- All hourly call outs and prices are rounded up to the next chargeable hour and are not priced per minute
- Travel time may be added unless stated otherwise - this includes travel time to a destination and any time taken out for sourcing or collection of any materials needed

FAQs:
Question: Do i get a certificate after works?
Answer: YES a certificate will be issued but please bear in mind depending on test results this does not mean it would be a PASS certificate, if test results are not satisfactory you may be issued an Unsatisfactory certificate (Fail) which would mean remedial works would be required for a satisfactory certificate to be issued
Question: Do i have to have earth bonding to my gas and water supplies?
Answer: YES earth bonding is a requirement to services which include gas and water supplies. these must be done with an appropriate conductor size
Question: Do i have to have to change my plastic board to a metal one?
Answer: No older plastic distribution boards do not need to be changed to metal ones if they are existing and as long as they provide adequate protection. however, if a new board is to be installed it would have to be a metal one
Question: what do the 'codes mean?
Answer: C1 = There is a danger present, risk of injury and immediate remedial action required C2 = There is a potential danger present and urgent remedial work is required C3 = Improvement is recommended
Question: what is an MCB?
Answer: An MCB is 'Miniature Circuit Breaker' which is an electro-mechanical device designed to protect an electric circuit from over-current - A term to describe an electrical fault caused by either overload or short circuit

Answer: An RCD is 'Residual Current Device' it is a life-saving device which is designed to prevent you from getting a fatal electric shock if you touch something live, such as a bare wire. it can also provide some protection against electrical fires. RCDs offer a level of protection that ordinary fuses and circuit-breakers cannot provide

Answer: An RCBO is 'Residual Current Circuit Breakers with Over-current protection' these devices are a combination of an RCD (Residual Current Device) and MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) in one unit
